As part of your registration to our ASMET newsletter service, we ask that you provide some basic personal data including your email address, first- and surname.

We process these personal data exclusively to offer you the most appropriate level of service through online newsletters, providing regular updates on new training modules, events and any other information that we think may be of interest to you in the context of learning more about meteorology, weather forecasting, and related geoscience topics. We do not pass your personal data on to third parties.

The service used to send the newsletters is MailPoet, which will analyse your online behaviour and usage of the newsletter. You can revoke consent to the storage of your data and email address as well as their use for sending the newsletter at any time, e.g. through the “unsubscribe” link in the newsletter. The data processed before we receive your request may, however, still be legally processed.
