South African Weather Service hosted the ASMET team meeting 5-9 December at SAWS, Pretoria. The team was working on new resources to be available for the African forecasters in near future, and planning new activities. For example, an updated version of Satellite Applications Courses is in plans for May 2023, and this team will be making it possible, both in English and in French. Together with COMET and EUMETSAT, the teams from EAMAC Niger, DGM Morocco, IMTR Kenya and SAWS South Africa have enjoyed working together this week, finally in face-to-face format after a long pandemic break.
