Secondary Lows Behind Frontal Systems, Duststorms and Cloud Clusters

The ASMET 5 module consists of three sets of case studies that focus on the use of EUMETSAT Meteosat Second Generation (MSG) satellite data to forecast the following weather phenomenon over Africa: the development of secondary lows behind frontal systems, duststorms, and cloud clusters.

The module is intended to be used by weather forecasters and meteorology students (WMO classes meteorologists and meteorological technicians) as a self-paced learning program and by instructors as a lecture aid in satellite meteorology and weather forecasting classes.

Go to the module on the COMET website.
