Join us for the Online Weather Briefings on 20 May and 3 June 2020

In the context of the ongoing Satellite Application Courses, two live weather briefings are scheduled in the coming weeks and you are invited to join us. The briefings will be held in English language and will be hosted on Zoom:

• The South African Weather Service (SAWS) will host a weather briefing live from Pretoria on 20 May 2020 at 11 UTC. Register and join us here.

• The Institute for Meteorological Training and Research (IMTR) will host a weather briefing live from Nairobi 3 June 2020 at 11 UTC. You can register to this event here.

During the briefing events, we will be discussing the current weather in Africa with the help of remote sensing and other observational data as well as NWP data.
